Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment
Two readings that are not the same day
Build 202’s release notes are the only place I found a frame-rate figure for this game. They say heavy stretches moved from a median of 31–37 FPS to 46–49 FPS, and that the fix set is on by default with no toggle. Which Forks has a single report dated 2 Nov, before that fix, which says the game boots and the rendering stays black. I will not average 46 and “black” into one status. After build 202 the project calls the fights playable. The independent post-fix report I was looking for is not in the compilation.
Issue 418 describes a fully black screen in the second mission, in the depths. Issue 484 is a crash at the first fight on build 189, Windows, AMD. Issue 402 is blurry gameplay. Issue 482 is a flashlight that renders incorrectly. Issue 386 is frequent crashes. Build 158 is the earlier note that gameplay renders again, before the 202 frame-rate pass. rdenno is the fork name attached to Hyrule builds in the community matrix. I do not have a version number for that fork.
Because the numeric claim is the project talking about its own build, the source count on this page is two only if you count the black-screen report separately. The frame-rate sentence has one author: the release note. I am not dressing it up as a benchmark lab.
Questions
Should I trust 46–49 FPS?
It is the project’s own before-and-after on build 202. I did not find a second person’s number after that build. Treat it as their measurement.
Which build do I need?
Build 158 is when rendering is said to return. Build 202 is the frame-rate note. Anything older than 158 matches the black-screen era of these reports.
Sources
Links from the same publisher count as one source; a community compilation counts as one source even when it contains many reports.
