Splatoon Raiders on Eglantine

The readme is cautious on purpose

The project readme’s entire compatibility paragraph says Mario Kart World can be decent or full speed, and that Splatoon Raiders has variable performance. A support list is promised later. I am not upgrading “variable” to “playable at 60.” Which Forks has two reports: one NVIDIA and one Steam Deck. The numbered one is a GTX 980 at about 50 FPS in the first hub after shaders warm up, on v0.1.0-rc1 PGO. The Deck report says playable with lighting bugs. That is the whole numeric record I have.

PokeDinner 2.5.0 is the fork name attached to this game. PokeDinner 2.1.0a says Raiders HDR is broken. 2.5.0 says the picture improved and does not claim HDR is fixed. There is no toggle in those notes that repairs HDR. Issue 96 is a black screen in the tutorial. Issue 133 says the image is too bright. Issue 642 is a bloom and colouring bug. Issue 174 is an Upgrade Tanks freeze. Issue 659 is frame rate. Build 60 is the dialogue glyph fix. Build 158 is the note about shadows, the reticle and steam.

If you came here from a video title that promises a locked frame rate, compare it with the two-report pile above before you copy a settings file. The PokeDinner page has the version split, including the AMD warning on 2.7.7.

Questions

Is HDR fixable in settings?

PokeDinner 2.1.0a says Raiders HDR is broken, and 2.5.0 does not claim a fix. I have no setting name that turns it back on.

Does the readme say it runs well?

It says “variable performances.” That sentence is still the project’s line as of 2026-10-29 onward, re-read on 2026-11-07.
